I am not a good cook. I don’t enjoy anything about it. And believe me, anyone who has been subjected to my cooking doesn’t enjoy it either. BUT, I made matching aprons for my daughter and me. I guess I have more Matchy McMatcherson tendencies in me than I thought.

waist apron for me — full apron for my daughter
See the part in the middle that is edged with rick rack? That is a little flap thingy to wipe wet or dirty hands on — like a built in towel. We made brownies the other day as a test run for the aprons. No mess! Yea, success!

Okay, this is just too freaky. You and I are starting to scare me. I got a mom and daughter apron pattern a couple weeks ago for Hali and I. I just pulled it out today to see which of the three it gives patterns for I wanted to do. I just want to find something thick like canvas for them so that stuff doesn’t leak through, and then I am going to make them.
Oh, but I guess we aren’t too similar- I love to bake and so does Hali. I never get to cook or bake anything by myself anymore, Hali always has to be up on the counter helping eat batter.

I do like to bake, but I absolutely h.a.t.e. to cook. Ugh! But my daughter loves any and all of it! She’s pretty good, too!

I like to cook, but not bake. I hate wafting flour.
Anyway, your aprons are grand. I love that you are matching.
